LOOKING TO HIRE RECYCLING SUPERINTENDENT
The Town of Smelser is looking to hire an individual to oversee the drop-off recycling center located at the Georgetown Hall in the Town of Smelser. This would consist of 4.5 hours each recycling day. Offering $15.00/hour.

NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF SMELSER
RECYCLING UPDATE
Beginning in August 2026 the Town of Smelser will transition from curbside recycling to a centralized recycling center located at the Georgetown Hall at 1233 St. Rose Road, Cuba City, WI 53807. Residents will continue to use their current recycling bins. Items that are recyclable remain the same. Listed below are the drop off dates for the remainder of 2026. Hours of operation for drop-off are 8:00am to 12:00noon. Please check the website (townofsmelser.com) for any updates as hours of operation may expand as this new program evolves. The recycling changes will not impact those that have garbage pickup.
